Installing metabase on ECS

Hello there,

I am trying to install metabase on EBS and getting below error

Invalid Parameter Combination
Unable to download from S3 location (Bucket: downloads.metabase.com Key: v1.35.1/metabase-aws-eb.zip). Reason: The bucket is in this region: us-east-1. Please use this region to retry the request

We are in eu-west-1. I can’t create EBS in us-east-1. I tried downloading the file but getting below error

<Error> <Code>AccessDenied</Code> <Message>Access Denied</Message> <RequestId>06F3758408F84893</RequestId> <HostId> ADW4LNJ0mhNFibCW3s/3UC+I4PAzYfHCFAXwf0QSoj5yUzNA/YxkYYrL99+lMmNK69lB4unrTO0= </HostId> </Error>

Any suggestion?

Hi @mali

Download the configuration (future person reading this - remember to change version!):
https://s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.metabase.com/v0.35.3/metabase-aws-eb.zip
And then upload that when creating the EBS (or to your own S3 in your location if you prefer).

For Enterprise - again modify the version to whichever version you want:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.metabase.com/enterprise/v1.35.3/metabase-aws-eb.zip
