Interactivity between questions in a dashboard (solved)

Hello everyone,

My question is about the dashboards in MetaBase.

Is there a way for questions in the dashboard to interact with each other ? For example I have 2 questions in my dashboard, the first question is a pie chart with 2 values, and the second question is a timeline. If i click on one of the values in the pie chart, the timeline will be filtered according to that value.

PS: I don’t want to apply a filter on only one question, but to link 2 questions with eachother in the same dashboard.

No not currently available. Instead of clicking on your pie, what you Can do is define a filter drop down that can control one or more charts. A similar wish and further discussion here:

I guess with “cross-filtering” you are referring to the feature where you stay on a dashboard page when applying filters? That’s slightly different from a drill-down into an underlying question where you bring some filter parameters along with you on the navigation, then can add more filtering to refine further. Metabase does have filtering on dashboards — but currently in a form where you’d have to pick your filter criteria in the drop downs — you can’t do it directly on the visualizations a…
