Is it possible to increase the dashboard canvas width?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using Metabase v0.62.3.5 running as a self-hosted deployment on an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster.

One thing I've noticed is that the dashboard canvas feels quite narrow compared to tools like Power BI. When building dashboards with multiple cards, I quickly run out of horizontal space, even on large monitors.

Is there a way to increase the maximum dashboard width or make dashboards use more of the available screen width?

Has anyone successfully done this on recent versions of Metabase?

Yes, when editing the dashboard, pull down the three-dots menu in the upper right and check “Full width.”

But that only expands my view of the dashboard. It doesn't make the canvas wider so I can add more cards on the sides. It does the same thing as pressing F11 on my laptop.

True, its the same number of grid points (24 wide), but in wide mode they zoom, so you can shrink the cards and still have them legible. It also gets rid of the letterboxing in a wide browser window.
