Is this is a potential bug or an erroneous filter setup?

Has it occurred that a drop-down filter does not show a match but when you update the filter anyway you still get the expected results?

For example: the name 'abc' does not display a match in the dropdown list but if you still update the name filter with 'abc' you get the results for 'abc'

Is this a bug or probably something wrong with the setup (all other similar filters work fine) ?

This is because the abc value is not in the filter values (we update those on a cadence). The value might exist but Metabase didn’t find it
