Markdown on Dashbord's Email subscription

Hi,

I'm new with Metabase, but I found that it's an amazing tool.
But I have a problem that I don't know how to solve.
I have a dashboard that I need to be sent by email daily, then I created a subscription for it, until now all good; but the things is that this dashboard have a tab with some fix info, a legend for guide the receivers of the dashboard in how to read the data. I created this tab's format with Markdown and on Metabase it looks great, but on the email it send just the Markdown code, who is not parsed by normal email's client apps as Outlook.
Pls, have you any idea?

Thanks

Hello there,

There is an issue about markdown tables not being supported on emails. Is the problem about tables or is markdown not working at all?
If possible, please let us know what version of Metabase you're using and show us a screenshot of an example of broken markdown in an email.

Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, actually is a table in Markdown, on Metabase's interface it's rendered great, but on email, the Markdown is sent with not render at all.
Is there a solution?

Thanks

Metabase updated recently, v0.54.3

Unfortunately, Markdown tables aren't currently supported in email subscriptions, and the feature is currently not on the roadmap. Make sure to upvote/subscribe to the feature request here.

As a workaround you could format it as a bulleted markdown list or even a use a hard-coded SQL question (something like SELECT '1', 'Code 01 - Carte de Credít' UNION ALL SELECT '2', 'Code 02 - Facture' and so on)

I already was working on something like that as a plan B. I hope that it will be ready on future, anyway it's not a big deal.
Marcos thanks a lot for your help.
