Metabase dashboard filter chaining — workspace field filter auto-generates a self-referencing linked filter row (Campaigns Workspace ID → Campaigns Workspace ID) alongside the intended row (Campaigns Organization ID → Campaigns Workspace ID) whenever a field filter is linked to a parent filter. The spurious self-referencing row cannot be removed from the UI and reappears every time the filter is recreated. When an org is selected via the parent filter, the self-referencing row causes the workspace dropdown to return no options, breaking the narrowing behaviour entirely. The filter works correctly with no org selected (shows all workspaces) but fails as soon as the parent filter has a value.
Foreign keys are all manually set up correctly. There is no options to remove to add to the settings displayed in the screenshot. This parent-filter relationship has been set up and working fine for months and then suddenly this happened with no human input.
