Hello Guys,
I have some users in my company that doesn't have some care about querys quality, so, sometimes they execute query without limit with more then 5 milion rows and metabase crashing.
Is there any way to avoid this? For exemplo superset add limit argument on every query.
Thank you
@rubenssoto Metabase has hardcoded limits on queries, so it should limit queries to 2,000, 10,000 or 1 million rows - depending on if it question or export.
Post "Diagnostic Info" from Admin > Troubleshooting.
And include information about your setup - how much RAM is available and how much Metabase can consume (see the first log entry during startup).
@rubenssoto
- Post logs from when Metabase crashed - check somewhere on your server or on AWS, since that looks like what you are using
- Describe how many resources the server has available
- Memory is only shown during startup - it's before Metabase actually loads. Check your server logs (not the Metabase logs)
If you don't want to manage stuff like that, then I would recommend you using Metabase Cloud:
