I encountered a Metabot reliability issue during a live demo with a client CEO.
Metabot gave step-by-step instructions in Italian for changing a visualization setting. In those instructions, it told the user to click the pencil icon to access visualization settings. However, in the current Metabase UI, the relevant control is the gear/settings icon, not a pencil.
This created immediate confusion during onboarding: the person following the instructions looked for an icon that does not exist in the interface. The issue is small at the UI-label level, but significant in practice because it weakens trust in Metabot during a real business demo.
