Hi. I’m liking the new treemap chart, but I would love to be able to for example choose not to display the percentage always. For example I might want to show a “bid rate” per category, which is already a percentage value, and then having the other percentage next to it which shows what percentage of the treemap’s total area this bid rate amounts to just makes the chart more confusing for the end-users. Also the Total on the top left doesn’t really make that much sense in these cases. It would be nice to be able to toggle whether or not to show the total, or be able to replace it with for example an average value. Being able to display an average for each parent instead of the sum, would also be nice. That way I could see the average bid rate for my main topics, based on the bid rate of my subtopic. Displaying the sum total of these percentages does not make sense.
So my specific request is:
- toggle for displaying the percentage next to the value number in treemaps
- toggle for displaying the total of the value numbers in treemaps
- option for displaying the average (and/or other aggregates) instead of the sum, both for the overall aggregated number on the treemap (what is called Total today) and the parent values.
