Metabase is becoming increasingly important in our environment, so we want to understand this open-source product better so that we can:
- quickly locate the root cause of technical issues in daily operation, find workarounds, and maybe contribute fixes back to the open-source project, and
- better answer inquiries from potential users about information security and more.
I would highly appreciate some pointers for a beginner, e.g. a document or tutorial, about setting up a running environment from the source code.
