On-click URL behavior depends on URL?

Hey Metabasers,

I just found out the cool feature of on-click URL redirection, which is great for us with an embedded metabase dashboard.

However, the behavior is not consistent.

  1. When I use it locally with a localhost redirect URL, it opens a new tab (very nice!).
  2. But when I use it on our acceptance server with that server's URL (and https), it doesn't open a new tab but instead just replaces the dashboard, which is quite awkward in an iFrame!

Any experience with forcing the first behavior for all URLs?
