Postgresql or Mysql, what is the right choice?

Hello Guys,

We have an opportunity to create a metabase fresh install on production and we dont know wich is the best choice for metabase, postgresql or mysql.

We will have 600 users using our metabase everyday.

Do you have any recommendation, for performance, metabase support etc?

Do you have experience with metabase and big clients wich database perform better?

Thank you

Hi @rubenssoto
The correct answer is whichever database you're most comfortable with and has most experience with.
We only use Postgres. And while I see more Postgres usage among larger instances, there's still many using MariaDB/MySQL.
