Public sharing button gone from saved question page in 0.33?

I’ve just gone to share a question for the first time since upgrading to 0.33.

It seems that the change to the question page layout has removed the sharing button? At least, it’s no longer where it’s talked about in the documentation: https://metabase.com/docs/v0.23.0/administration-guide/12-public-links.html

Am I just missing something or is this ability now not available for questions? It’s still available on dashboards, but I don’t want to have to create a dashboard for every question that I share.

Yeah, it’s in bottom-right corner, when you’re viewing a question - and top-right corner, when viewing a dashboard.

By the way, that a very old version of the documentation you’re linking to - v0.23.0
Either use the version you’re using or latest to always see the latest:

I’m finding the button layout to be a bit strange in 0.33, a bit all over the place.

It took me a little time to get used to the new query interface. There are still work being done to try to make it consistent. And there are places in the documentation that might be a little outdated, which is a constant work-in-progress.

But changing a major interface, like the Query Browser, will always make people a little uncomfortable if they have been used to it for several years.

There are a lot of new features in 0.33, so it’s difficult to cram all those things in and still trying to make it user-friendly.
I think 0.34 might see a dashboard overhaul, so the behavior will be more similar to QB.
