Search button to support search filter?

Is there a search button to support the dashboard filter？
If the action of triggering search is one option selected.There are two problems that:

  1. Continuous triggering will impact performance
    2.If there are many filter conditions,the serached result will change when customers select filter option quickly.

Is there a search botton to trigger the action of search?That is to say that the views which link the filter can filter the searched result when I click the serach button rather than when I selected a option of the filter drop down list.
