One question :
When we define "manually" a semantic type, it's erased when we scan the database again.
Any way to prevent it ?

It shouldn't do that! What steps are you taking to scan the database?
What version of Metabase? What database?
Just using the database scan.
0.49.1 is the version we currently use.

It looks similar, that issue has been around for ages but doesn't look like it's getting any attention, I've been bitten on more than one occasion.
