I wanted to setup slack alerts on metabase, unfortunately I can't do it. The slack part in the alert window doesn't appear.
When I tried on staging where I'm an admin I can see the slack part.
Are admins the only one who can create slack alerts?

Yes, only admins can define Slack channel for Alerts, since it's not possible to know which channels the users should be able to see or not.
adding on to this. I just tested this on 0.44.4 and for a question regular users cannot choose the slack alert option, but only the mail alert. However, when looking at email subscriptions, both options appear for regular users.
Is this intended and why? I would love to give the ability of creating slack alerts to my users. As long as I can control it. Is there a feature request for this already?
