Stacked-Bar & Scatter charts duplicate breakout labels

Breakout labels double in focus pop-ups for Stacked-Bar & Scatter charts when using “Native query” option to build a question on added database. Curiously this doesn’t happen for the Sample database. Illustrations and code to reproduce below.

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?
