Treemap charts are very useful visualizations for hierarchical data with many applications (examples below, Upvote on GitHub Graphic Treemap #3189). And if anyone has a more appropriate synonym for this type of visualization, that would be appreciated. It looks more like an "Area Map" than anything else, not at all like "tree"!
