Hey, I'm not sure whether it is a bug or I'm missing something, but how to make Trend widget work correctly when I select specific month? For example, I want to select Nov 2023 and all comparisons to show: vs last month, vs same month last year. It appears to be working when there is no Date selected in the filter.
When you select the month, do the results of the card have info from previous months? if not, then Metabase can't compare

I'm new to Metabase and I'm having the same difficulty. Trend is really cool and I would like to use it to its full potential.
In theory, if we select the date, the trend needs dates up to the previous year, so the output would be exclusively for this element so that the filtered date does not return just the selected one, but the entire previous period up to the specified moment (1 previous year, 2 previous years...)
OR...
Maybe create a custom column with the Date of the previous period so that it is returned in the aggregation result (?)
I tried it in 2 ways: either using Metabase's own rule or creating an aggregation using "Offset" and both gave the same result.
We are aggregating by year and filtering by Month... something is escaping our eyes (hahahah)
If there is a way to do this in some way, it would be useful to continue creating our dashboards.
