Unable to subscribe from Slack integration through private channel;

I need to send a metabase dashboard to a Slack private channel everyday and I have added metabase app to that channel. However, I was unable to find any private channel when trying to set up the subscription. Can anybody help me with this?

What version of metabase are you running?

Is this a private channel or an external channel? Did you try to create a new private channel just to test and then add the app there to see if it works.

It is a private channel.
I tried to create another private channel for testing, but still it didn't work

Do you get any error in the logs when you do so? In Admin -> Troubleshooting -> Logs?

Also can you share the Admin -> Troubleshooting -> Diagnostic Info
