Update to Version 56

Hello everyone,

I had a version 41. open source I just install to new version, I I am following these steps.

When I open server:3000 show it

I was waiting for one hours, this screen didn’t change.

Try: apt install
root@metabase:/opt/metabase# clear

root@metabase:/opt/metabase# java --version
openjdk 21.0.8 2025-07-15
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 21.0.8+9-Ubuntu-0ubuntu122.04.1)

I don’t believe that screen/scrollbar appears in Metabase 56. It might be a cached page?

There is a big database schema transition that happens between those versions that can take a long time to process, especially if you have lots of questions & users. I suggest monitoring your database performance and make sure the queries are progressing.
