Update your Amazon RDS SSL/TLS certificates before March 5, 2020

I am running the latest version on Amazon Beanstalk. It is leveraging RDS Postrges for the config. Apparently Amazon is forcing SSL cert upgrades. In RDS I can simply click the DB and Update the Cert. Will this have any impact on connectivity with Metabase? If so what do I need to configure to ensure smooth sailing?

I found this post https://github.com/metabase/metabase/issues/1350 where the last post by @holtkamp mentions the Amazon requirement but not sure how interpret impact.

Thanks!

For others that have to upgrade SSL Certs, I used the “Force” and just upgraded one of my instances and am able to connect after the upgraded cert. There is a way to rollback to a previous cert so at least there is some insurance.
