Can i get the user name which is logged into the Metabase.
Covered how to see when users are last logged in the Admin Guide on this page: https://metabase.com/docs/latest/administration-guide/04-managing-users.html
Not sure if that was what you are asking for?
No i want to now current login name in Metabase. So that accordingly i can apply filters.
Aaaah! … of course
Then Search here on Discourse:
http://discourse.metabase.com/search?q=username
… and you will see it’s - more or less a #faq - for example: How to use authenticated user’s username as a variable in the SQL string used to create a new question?
Hi Jornh, hope you can help.
I have search for 'username', 'username api' and read everything in the forum, but no luck.
I have installed the docker version of metabase. Was asked my name, email address, company name and password. That's it.
I'm trying to connect n8n to metabase and their node asks for url, username and password.
I have tried my email as the username and get Unauthorized.
The information username was not selected by me at any point of the installation and it's not my email.
How can I add my metabase credentials to n8n please?
Thank you!
Gabriel
Hey there!
For n8n, in the username and password fields, you have to put in your email and password that you use to log into Metabase. Could you double check if you open an Incognito window and try to log in with those credentials? If you log in successfully, then those same credentials should work in n8n.
