Using Google Analytics v4 in version 0.45

Hello everyone,

Our company uses Metabase 0.45.1 and we moved to Google Analytics v4 and I've been tasked with connecting GA to Metabase and create a few dashboards.
Metabase 0.45 docs explains how to connect to GA but the Metabase 0.46 docs say it supported GA v3 and has dropped support for it from 0.46

Can I still connect Metabase 0.45 to Google Analytics v4 the same way its explained in the docs, or will I
have to update to v0.46 and go the big query route as mentioned here? Working with Google Analytics in Metabase

No the best way to use GA with metabase would be to import GA data to big query and then connect to Big Query dirextly

@AshanPerera Hey, were you able to find a way for this? I am currently trying to do the same at my organisation

Probably a bit too late now, but I exported my GA data to a separate postgres DB and created dashboards on that
