Where are the meta data stored?

Ok, I must admit, I am 100% sure that this question is actually answered in the documentation, I just can’t find it :smiley:

Tableau and PowerBi store the metadata about reports, dashboards, datamodels, and connections in files.

Where does metabase store these informations?

I mean, when I install Metabase locally, where are the metadata stored?
