Apply Dashboard filter to questions built with "Custom Question" GUI

When I try to apply Dashboard filter to questions built with “Custom Question” GUI, it shows “No valid Filter”.
It only works with questions built with native SQL and SQL parameters.

Is there a way to apply filters to questions built with “Custom Question” ?

There’s currently 2 issues, which might be causing the problem. First is dashboard cannot link to Saved Questions (nested), second is dashboard cannot link to Custom question with aggregated data.
