Currently (37.2) all users get access (view) to a newly-created collection.
Was this intended? It makes more sense to me that initially only admins have access to a newly-created collection. And then they give relevant groups, permission to the collection (whether view-only or curate).

I don’t understand. Has the behavior changed - since which version?
New collections gets the same permissions as it’s parent collection. From what I recall this has always been the behavior, since collection overhaul in 0.30
I didn’t mean it’s specific to the current version.
Actually I had set the collection permissions for “Our Analytics” to allow “All Users” view it. That’s why the newly-created collections were getting view-access for “All Users” as well. My bad.
