Drilldown Option without data permission

Hi,

I have few users, for whom I want them to view the dashboards and collection.

Apart from viewing the dashboard, they can drill down into the data, but for this I need to provide the data permission access.

Is there any way that, without providing the data permission access, they can drill down.

I have the same issue/request.

IIRC, they could in older version (32.10) see a dashboard and question and press that and see the actual data without modifying the query.

I’ve opened an issue on drill-through not working without data permission.

I’ve tested on 0.32.10 too, but here you don’t have the ability to click, so it wasn’t possible to make a drill-through.

Any movement on this issue? For me I feel it has just started as I had a couple of users that could drill down to a question, but now they cant (there has been changes to the "Question" at hand, but still a native question).
For me, the need to drill down enables the ability to export to csv.
Users appear to be able to go directly to the said Question without error, but don't have the simple ability to filter the record set.

@amosm You are seeing a different issue:

We are working on a complete rewrite of how filters are applied, which should fix many of these issues.
